Residential scheme on 50 acres of land in Cox's Bazar

A planned residential scheme on 50 acres of land at a cost over Tk 15.75 crore will be taken up at the Cox's Bazar town.There will be 507 residential plots and 2.44 acres for commercial plots in the project to be financed by the National Housing Authority. This was disclosed today at a meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Housing and Public Works Ministry at the Sangsad Bhaban with its chairman Shahjahan Chowdhury in the chair. The meeting was told that the project awaits its final approval by the ministry. Committee members, Kazi Muhammad Anwar Hossain, Muhammad Alamgir Haider Khan, Prof Joinal Abedin, Alamgir Muhammad Mahfuj Ullah Farid, Muhammad Sultan Mahmud Babu and Muhammad Abdul Muttalib Akhand attended the meeting.
