Global Ins okays 10pc cash dividend
Global Insurance Limited has approved a 10 percent cash dividend for the shareholders for the year 2003.The dividend was okayed at the 4th annual general meeting of the company held at its head office in Dhaka on Thursday, says a press release. Md Anwarul Haque, chairman of the company, presided over the meeting. During the year 2003, the company earned a net premium of Tk 4,81,66,605 after re-insurance cession and pre-fax profit of Tk 1,43,69,211. In 2002, it was Tk 5,92,749. Total asset of the company in 2003 was Tk 13.30 crore.
