Train service restored

Train services on Mymensingh, Dinajpur, Lalmonirhat, Rajshahi and Khulna lines were restored yesterday morning after repair of the small railway bridge damaged by mob after the killing of Ahsan Ullah Master MP on Friday.A railway press release said the automatic signal system at Tongi station damaged by the fire could not be restored. Manual signal system was introduced to meet the emergency. The railway authorities regretted the inconveniences caused to travelling people by the unavoidable suspension of train services.
