BNP MPs asked to attend JS sessions timely, regularly


Members of Parliament belonging to the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) have been requested to attend timely the parliament sessions from May 12-17 to exercise their voting power to consider and pass the Fourteenth Amendment Bill-2004.

Chief Whip Khondaker Delwar Hossain has urged them to attend the sessions regularly.

The Fourteenth Amendment Bill-2004 is now under consideration of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.

The Parliamentary Standing Committee will place the report on the proposed amendment bill to the parliament on May 12.

The Bill will be considered and passed any day between May 12 and 17.

11th sessions of 8th parliament will prorogue on May 17.
