"Everything is finalised, but there is a small problem about his passport which he earlier submitted to Italian embassy. But Youhana assured us that he would get it tomorrow (Thursday) morning and fly to Dhaka in the night," said Partex cricket team manager Sajjad Hossain yesterday.

Sajjad also informed that they had already made arrangements so that the Pakistani vice-captain could get the visa on arrival and if everything went alright the dashing batsman would feature in the crucial match against Bashundhara on Friday at the Bangabandhu National Stadium.

Partex, who had earlier tried to rope in Pakistani captain Inzamamul Haq, lost their first match to GrameenPhone on Monday. But they still stand a good chance for a semifinal place after Bashundhara beat GrameenPhone yesterday.
