5 held Indians were on way to UK

The five Indian nationals who holed up in a Biman aircraft and were arrested at Zia International Airport (ZIA) on Saturday, came to Bangladesh after a gang assured them of sending to Britain.

An inquiry report of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) revealed this yesterday.

"The five are not members of any insurgency group, rather they were brought here to be sent abroad," an official of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism said quoting the CAAB report.

Police, meanwhile, arrested the owner and the manager of Euro Garden, a guesthouse in Gulshan, where the five Indian nationals checked out before leaving for Hong Kong.
