42 entries for NFL qualifiers

Only 41 district and one services teams sent their entries for the 4th National Football League (NFL) qualifying round before the deadline yesterday.The qualifiers will begin across the country on July 21. Last year, 58 teams took part in the qualifiers including two services teams. However, the BFF will accept entries sent on the same day even if they reach the BFF office after the deadline. Many of the teams, meanwhile, face the threat of disqualification because they were league champions of their respective districts before 2003. The NFL organising committee will only allow teams from leagues held in 2003 and 2004.
