One more victim of building collapse dies

One more victim of June 9 building collapse at Shankhari Bazar in Old Dhaka died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital early yesterday.With the death of Mithu Kumar Nag, who suffered severe wounds in his stomach, the death toll in the building collapse rose to 19. He was a co-owner of the building. Mithu's wife Konika Nag and their daughters Puja and Esha were among the dead. Mithu's brother Modhu Nath was also killed in the incident. Mithu with his family lived on the second floor of the six-storey building built on 200-year-old three-storey foundations.
