Zia leaves for USA today

Bangladesh Grand Master Ziaur Rahman will leave Dhaka tonight to participate in the World Open Chess tournament in the USA.The Swiss League tournament, a regular event of the Philadelphia chess calendar, takes place from June 29-July 5. Bangladesh Biman provided Zia's air fare for Zia while State Minister for Youth and Sports Fazlur Rahman contributed 500 dollars as expenses for the Biman player.
