Tigers get a day's break

Tigers will enjoy only a day's rest before flying to Sri Lanka on June 30 to take part in next month's Asia Cup.Habibul Bashar's men are going to the emerald island fifteen days before the regional tournament kicks off on July 16 to play three practice matches. They will play their first practice match on July 6 and remaining games are on July 9 and 12 respectively. Bangladesh have been pitted in Group A along with minnows Hong Kong and reigning champions Pakistan in the six-nation meet where India, hosts Sri Lanka and UAE make up the other group. After returning from West Indies the boys have enjoyed only three days' relaxation before joining the national camp on June 16. But net practice started only yesterday at the BKSP after they spent ten days in hard physical training. All players except paceman Tapas Baisya, who injured his shoulder while boxing last week, took part.
