Transport strike begins in 16 N districts today

North Bengal Road Transport Owners and Workers Association enforces an indefinite transport strike in 16 northern districts from today to press home their demands. Abu Asgor Pintu, president of the association, said they called the indefinite strike as the government did not meet their demands. Their seven-point demand include implementation of the tripartite agreement with the government, vehicle owners and workers of 16 northern districts and an end to traffic police harassment.
