Bravo restricts England

Seamer Dwayne Bravo grabbed three wickets as England crumbled to 147 all out inside 39 overs in the third one-day triangular international at Trent Bridge on Sunday.

Bravo, with three for 26, pierced England's middle-order, which had been lengthened by the inclusion of four all-rounders, to help dismiss the hosts for their lowest one-day score at the Nottigham ground.

Ian Blackwell (4) gave away his wicket pulling Bravo straight to Chanderpaul at mid-on and Bravo then tempted Anthony McGrath (9) to tentatively push outside off stump and edge to Chris Gayle at slip.

Brian Lara's decision to put England into bat on a hard pitch had earlier been justified when left armer Ian Bradshaw dismissed openers Marcus Trescothick and Michael Vaughan in his first two overs.

Trescothick (0) hit Bradshaw straight to Lara just in front of square and captain Vaughan (1) tried to work a ball onto the legside but lobbed a simple catch to Ramnaresh Sarwan at mid-on.

One-day debutant Geraint Jones, batting at three, then steadied the innings in an 82-run partnership with Andrew Strauss before Ravi Rampaul, who had earlier struggled with his line, made a ball nip back and bowl Jones for 35 off 45 deliveries.
