AL protests sacking of 15 employees

Awami League Joint General Secretary Obaidul Kader has protested the sacking of 15 officials and employees of Bangabandhu Graveyard Complex Project at Tungipara pending their salaries and allowances for 19 months.In a statement yesterday, he demanded their reinstatement and allocation of fund for the maintenance of the project. Obaidul Kader said the government is tarnishing the image of the country by declaring former president Ziaur Rahman as proclaimer of independence in the reprint of Swadhinata Juddher Dalilpatra. He said the vested quarters will never be successful in their heinous attempt to erase Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman from the heart of the people.
