Police said eight robbers stormed into the transport agency's courier service office in Nasirabad at around 11:00pm. They kept confined all the four staffers including the manager at gunpoint and took away the sum from the lockers. They also beat up Manager Jasimuddin and three others.

"I fell unconscious when one robber hit on my head from behind by a cut-rifle," said staff Abul Hossain.

Police said they are trying to nab the criminals.
