Ex-army officer held on charge of 'harbouring criminals'

A former army officer was arrested on charge of his alleged involvement in crimes including murder on Friday.Sonadanga Thana police arrested ex-captain Mahmud Hasan, also owner of a health club situated on South Central Road here. He harbours criminals in guise of health club owner, according to police. Moreover, he maintains liaison with an outlawed party. He was sent to district jail on Saturday.
