Wreaths will be placed at his grave at Banani Graveyard, and special prayers will be offered at different city mosques after Juma prayers besides distributing relief among the flood-hit people in the capital.

A milad mahfil will be held at Mahbub Bhaban, House No. 40, Road No. 5, Dhanmondi after Maghrib prayers.

Rear Admiral Mahbub Ali Khan Memorial Committee will organise a discussion on his life and works in Sylhet, and milad mahfil and destitute feeding at Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) Shrine.

Bangladesh Navy will also arrange milad mahfils at all bases in Dhaka, Chittagong, Khulna, Kaptai and Mongla.

Surovi, a voluntary organisation founded by the family members of the deceased, will also hold milad mahfils at all branches across the country.
