Credit card, too costly

It is evident that credit card brings luxury to urban life, makes life a bit easier, but the charge for this is very high. In other countries, credit card is one of the essentials--whereas in Bangladesh it's limited to the domain of the rich. Following the hot business, about 50% banks in Bangladesh are going to start it. Almost every bank is charging above 30% interest. Moreover, the annual card renewal fee is Tk 1--2 thousand. Besides, if any subscriber pays the money just one day after the expiry of the date, he/she has to pay a delay fine up to Tk 500.

The interest of the card holders is getting no attention. I think I have made my point.
