1,523 more held, 12 firearms seized

Police arrested some 1,523 people, including four identified criminals, on various charges during their countrywide drive in the last 24 hours ending at 6.00am yesterday.During the period, the law enforcers recovered 12 firearms and 54 bullets and filed five cases against 13 people under the Arms Act, says a Police Headquarters press release.
