U-19 cricketers back home

The Bangladesh Under-19 cricket team returned yesterday after playing their first official Test and one-day series against England.

The Junior Tigers lost both the three-match series (Test 2-0 and ODI 1-0) during the over six-week stay in England.

The one-day series proved really frustrating for the visitors as two matches were washed out.

Meanwhile, three of Richard McInnes' charges -- Nafees Iqbal, Aftab Ahmed and Nazmul Hossain -- got the national call up midway through the tour and are expected to feature in the ICC Champions Trophy.
