Nepalese trade team due on Thursday


A 15-member delegation from Birganj Chamber of Commerce and Industries (BCCI) of Nepal will arrive here on Thursday on an eight-day visit.

Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (Bepza) is co-ordinating the visit.

During the visit, the delegation, led by BCCI President Om Prakash Rungta, will meet the leaders of MCCI, DCCI and other chambers and trade organisations to explore trade opportunities between the two countries.

The team will visit the Mongla Port, Mongla EPZ, Ishwardi EPZ and Uttara EPZ in Nilphamari to look at the opportunities for joint venture investment.

Other members of the delegation are: Arbind Kumar Khetan, Ashok Kumar Agrawal, Ganesh Prasad lath, Hari Narayan Gupta, Madhav Rajpal, Munna Kumar Saraf, Om Prakash Kalwar, Pitambar Kumar Munka, Pradeep Kumar Agarwal, Rajesh Kumar Kedia, Shiw Kumar Roongta, Sunil Kumar Khetan, Suresh Kumar Agrawal and Tara Prasad.
