ICAB adopts int'l standards on auditing
The Institute of Chartered Accoun-tants of Bangladesh (ICAB) recently adopted 35 International Standards on Auditing issued by International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) as Bangladesh Standards on Auditing.These standards will serve as the benchmark for high quality auditing, says a press release. Earlier, ICAB adopted 30 Bangladesh Accounting Standards (BAS) based on International Accounting Standards issued by International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) to ensure transparency in accounting practices.
