Police refuse to record AL cases

Police refused to record any case regarding attack and ransack of Awami League (AL) office and its president's house allegedly by BNP activists on Tuesday.

Its president and secretary Shahajahan Mia and Khan Mosarraf Hossain complained this at a press conference at local press club on Thursday.

Since Wednesday Awami League tried to file at least three cases with the Sadar but failed, they said.

However, BNP leaders filed three cases with Sadar thana on Tuesday against 50 AL activists for allegedly ransacking shops and damaging rickshaws during hartal hours.
