President, PM shocked at Russia incident

President Iajuddin Ahmed and Prime Minister Khaleda Zia yesterday condemned the act of terrorism in southern Russia and expressed their profound shock at the loss of many lives including the schoolchildren"No condemnation is strong enough to express our abhorrence for this mindless act of atrocities that untimely took away so many lives," the president said in a message sent to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. He prayed to the almighty to give strength to the people who have lost their loved ones and the people of the Russian Federation to bear the shock of the incident. In a message to her Russian counterpart Mikhail Fradkov, Prime Minister Khaleda Zia strongly condemned this senseless act of terrorism. She conveyed deep shock to the members of the bereaved families and prayed for the peace of the departed souls.
