Injured staff of commissioner'soffice dies

An employee of the office of Mohammadpur ward commissioner, who sustained bullet wounds on Friday, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) yesterday. Abdullah Al Mamun, a peon, succumbed to his injuries at 3:00am after fighting for life for 15 hours with six bullets in his body. His father Abdul Mannan has filed a case with Mohammadpur thana. Police, however, could not arrest anyone in this connection till last night. Mannan alleged that the members of Nabi Group killed his son for helping police to nab Rafiq, a member of the group.
