Death in custody: Is it planned killing?

It is interesting to note that within days of nabbing the big shots of the criminal world, the RAB or police end up with death of that person. The pattern is like this: 1.Nab the criminal. 2.The criminal is interrogated. 3.Often papers report that the criminals named several political leaders involvement. 4.The authorities take the criminal to some place at night to catch others of his group. 5.The authorities never can catch anyone of that group 6.The criminal in custody is always killed either by cross-fire or while trying to flee. Then the questions come: How many members of RAB or police have been suspended for the death of Picchi Hanan or Litu or any of the custodial deaths? This trend is an attack on democracy. We all hope that the government is in no way involved in the grenade attack, but the custodial deaths are surely happening with the blessing of the government. If a government becomes a killing machine than there is no bigger threat. People have to understand that, no matter what, every person has the right to judiciary trial in a democratic country with minimum freedom. When that is compromised both democracy and freedom are compromised.
