Opposition shifts oust-govt programme for rain

The "mass no-confidence wall" programme announced earlier by main opposition Awami League (AL), 11-Party, JSD (Inu) and NAP (Mozaffar) has been shifted to September 22 from September 18 due to inclement weather.It will be formed from Gazipur intersection to Narayanganj launch terminal protesting the grenade attacks on the Awami League rally on August 21 that killed 20 people, including AL Women Affairs Secretary Ivy Rahman, and aimed at ousting the BNP-Jamaat alliance government and eliminating the "religious extremists."
