He was identified as Anwar Hossain Samrat, a first year commerce student of Imperial College.

Anwar went to play at Dhupkhola field when his friend Rony, upon an altercation, stabbed him with a chisel and fled the scene.

Anwar was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he was undergoing treatment.
