Rajshahi, Barguna split points

The opening final round match of the JFA Cup Under-16 Football tourney between Rajshahi and Barguna ended in a goalless draw at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Mostafa Stadium in Kamalapur yesterday. Eight teams -- divided into two groups -- are taking part in the final round of the first-ever competition, organised by Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) with the financial assistance of Japan Football Association (JFA). Sirajganj will face Meherpur at 1:15 pm and Narsingdi will take on Feni at 3 pm at the same venue.
