An armed group of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) and Jubo Dal allegdly attacked Oikya Mancha convenor Dr. Kamal Hossain and BDB President AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury, on Tuesday,leaving at least 30 people injured.

Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) President, Hasanul Haque Inu and General Secretary Seyed Jafar Sajjad in a statement said the attack clearly proved that the government won't tolerate the existence of any rival party, as it wants to cling to power forever.

They demanded immediate arrest and punishment of those, responsible for the attack.

Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) also protested the attack saying the government won't be able to suppress the ongoing oust government movement by such attacks.

In a statement to the press, left leaning 11 Party also condemned the attack and demanded to bring the masterminds to justice.

Bangladesh Bar Council, Sammilita Samajik Andolan, Progressive Teachers Association of Rajshahi, Kendriya Jubo Sangram Parishad and different student organisations of Dhaka University also condemned the attack.
