Khan said it is a customary practice that the incumbent chairperson of the Saarc undertakes visit to the member countries at the end of his tenure.

The Pak prime minister will hold official talks with Prime Minister Khaleda Zia at her office on November 3.

"Since the Pakistan prime minister has got vast experience in economic sector, he would perhaps spell out his idea about how to acquire economic growth by the Saarc countries," Khan said.

To a question, Khan said both Dhaka and Islamabad would concentrate on how existing bilateral relations could be made more meaningful. Bangladesh will continue to raise the bilateral issues like repatriation of stranded Pakistanis in "all bilateral discussions".

Meanwhile, the foreign minister leaves for New Delhi on October 31 as special envoy of Prime Minister Khaleda Zia to hand over her letter to Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh inviting him to attend the forthcoming Saarc summit in Dhaka.

He will call on Singh on November 1.

This will be Khan's first visit to a Saarc capital as special envoy of the prime minister as Dhaka hosts the 13th summit of the regional forum January 9-11.

During his stay in Delhi, Khan will hold bilateral meeting with his Indian counterpart Natawar Singh.
