Meanwhile, 10 jail guards including Reserve Habilder Abdul Khalaque Bepari and jail warden Bhaboranjan were suspended on charge of assisting the DIG in his immoral activities, according to Acting Senior Superintendent of Jessore Jail Magistrate Bazlur Rahman.

The processionists created a chaotic situation inside the prison. At one stage police had to intervene to quell the situation. After an investigation, Acting Senior Superintendent suspended the ten prison guards.
