Construction of Shitalakhya bridge soon

Communications Minister Barrister Nazmul Huda yesterday said that the construction work for the Shitalakhya bridge would start soon to make direct road link with the adjacent port and the district town.He was addressing a pre-Iftar party gathering hosted by BNP district unit at Narayanganj Club in the town. Huda said the grenade attack on the Awami League rally on August 21 was carried out to confuse the nation and it was a part of conspiracy against the four-party alliance government. "The opposition is engaged in conspiracy to make the country's politics unstable while the government is overcoming the problems created due to floods and other natural calamities," the minister added. He said the law and order bas been improved significantly by deploying Rapid Action Battalion (RAB). Huda called upon the people to come forward to building resistance against all conspiracies.
