resignation of KCC mayor demanded

Khulna district and city units of Jubo Sangram Parishad (JSP) yesterday formed a human chain at Upper Jessore Road demanding resignation of Khulna City Corporation (KCC) Mayor Shaikh Tayebur Rahman for his alleged failure to provide the citizens with minimum civic amenities.Leaders and activists of the parishad wore block badges while joining the human chain programme from 11.00am to 12.00noon. Later at a rally at the Picture Palace Cinema Hall square, JSP leaders blamed the city mayor for indulging in nepotism in recruiting corporation staffs.
