2 BNP front body leaders released

Manzoor Morshed Swapan, central organising secretary of Jatiyatabadi Sangs- kritik Sangstha, and Shajahan Shova, Jubo Dal leader, were released from Bagerhat Sadar Thana on Sunday 19 hours after their arrest by Rapid Action Battalion (Rab). Rab arrested them on Saturday from Chitalmari upazila on specific charges of collecting illegal toll and having close link with outlaws. The arrestees had to be released under pressure from Bagerhat district BNP President M A H Selim MP, said a senior police official.
