Outlaw lynched in Khulna


An armed cadre of outlawed Purba Banglar Communist Party (PBCP-Janajuddho) was lynched by a mob in the city yesterday.

Police recovered the body of Mohammad Shumon alias Shujan, 24, from behind Khulna Circuit House at about 7:30pm.

Son of Abdul Hamid of TB crossing road under Khulna Police Station, Shujan was the

prime suspect of bomb attack on Sekander Zafrullah Khan Shacchu, senior vice-president of city BNP.

According to the officer-in-charge (OC) of Khulna Police Station, Shujan was an extortionist and accused in several criminal cases.

Shujan's father alleged that his son was beaten to death by police yesterday noon.
