Encroachment of Buriganga protested

Angikar Bangladesh, a non-government organisation, staged a demonstration on Bangladesh-China Friendship Bridge at Postogola in the city protesting encroachment of river Buriganga by a lawmaker. Speakers at the demonstration said the house of the lawmaker has been constructed by encroaching the river. Chief Director of Angikar Mohammad Hilaluddin, AKMA Hannan, Abdur Rashid Sabur, Sheikh Milton, Nurul Haque and Moniruzzaman joined the protest.
