Mustafiz Shafi, deputy chief reporter of daily Amar Desh and Saiful Islam Shamim, senior reporter of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, have been elected president and general secretary respectively.

Other office bearers are: Vice-Presidents: Rafiqul Islam Ratan and Abul Khayer, Joint Secretary: Nesar Ahmad, Treasurer: Shamsul Amin Shamim, Organising Secretary: Salahuddin Bablu, International Relation Secretary: Munni Saha, Publication and Research Secretary: Shakil Ahmed and Office Secretary: Shamim Al Amin.

Members of the executive committee are Naimul Huq, Kazi Hafiz, Masud Kamal, Sayed Zahirul Abedin and Sarwar Hossain.
