Grenade seized on outlaw's statement

Joint forces seized a powerful hand grenade from Choighoria village under Batiaghata upazila of Khulna district Sunday night.The grenade was seized following the statement of Haripada Pal, an alleged activist of outlawed New Biplobi Communist Party who was arrested by joint forces Friday. Police said Haripada was directly involved in 10 murders committed during the last three years. The arrested outlaw was sent to Khulna District Jail yesterday.
