Initially, it was thought that RAB would be ineffective. But now it appears much more effective and well-equipped anti-terrorism force. Already it has progressed significantly with success. It is now the only name that induces scare in the hearts of the terrorists in Bangladesh. But, death in 'crossfire ' is not always acceptable unless it faces resistance. It should arrest the criminals and their godfathers for trial under law and recover illegal arms. Despite some controversial killings in captivity and in 'crossfire', common people welcome its activities because of its firm commitment to combat terrorism. Nevertheless, it has to be very cautious in conducting operations so that fears could not touch the innocents. It is true that the newly born elite force has become enemy of criminals, but still it needs to prove itself as a friend of the people.
