Get back my missing brother
Sister appeals to PM

A sister yesterday appealed to the prime minister and the state minister for home to get back her brother who was allegedly abducted on November 18.

At a press conference at the office of Bangladesh Crime Reporters' Association, Anwara Begum alleged that Mostaq Ahmed Milon was called out of their Mirpur house by Rajib, son of one Zahirul Islam, in the plea of returning Tk 6 lakh that he lent them.

She said Milon, who ran a coaching centre at Elephant Road, had been missing since then. "Milon told me the previous night that Zahirul had borrowed the money from him and was lingering to return the sum," she claimed.

Anwara filed a case with Mirpur Police Station accusing Zahirul, his wife Koli and Rajib on December 3 and police subsequently arrested Zahirul and Rajib, but could not find out any information about Milon.

Anwara also demanded transfer of the case to Criminal Investigation Department (CID) from Mirpur police.
