Autorickshaw hijacked, driver stabbed

Carjackers stabbed a driver and drove away in his CNG autorickshaw from Dhanmondi in the city yesterday.The two carjackers posing as passengers hired the autorickshaw of Ali Hossan, 35, at Mohakhali intersection at around 1:45pm. They stabbed Hossain in his right leg and drove away as the vehicle reached a Kathalbagan lane where three of their accomplices were waiting. The driver was rushed to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).
