Another cold wave shortly
Staff Correspondent
With the thinning of clouds, the temperature will fall and the second spell of cold wave is likely to hit the country in a couple of days. "The temperature is warm now as clouds and thick fog prevent radiation of heat. After two or three days the temperature will fall again," said the met office forecasting officer. The met officials forecast a rising tendency of mercury across the country and recorded 7.4 degrees Celsius in Srimangal as the country's lowest temperature. The lowest temperature in the capital was 11.5 degrees Celsius. Drizzling may occur in some places including Rajshahi and Sylhet divisions and Tangail and Mymensingh regions, weathermen said. But elsewhere the temperature may increase slightly. Weather will remain dry and foggy across the country.
