Jahangirnagar Film Society holds 'Eastern and Western Film Session'

Jahangirnagar Film Society (JFS) organises a two-day long 'Eastern and Western Film' session featuring four films from Vietnam, Italy and France. Taking place at the auditorium of Goethe Institut, the session begins today at 3:30 pm with Vietnamese filmmaker Tran Anh Hung's The Scent of Green Papaya. Two films will be screened each day at 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm.Italian master filmmaker Federico Fellini's Nights of Cabiria will follow the inaugural show. Tomorrow's shows feature French movie Under the Sand of Francois Ozon and Il Grido of Italian Michelangelo Antonioni.
