OSD Azizul Islam has been appointed as a member of the Planning Commission, according to an official notification.

Director General (Seed Wing) of the Ministry of Agriculture Shaikh Enayetullah has been appointed additional secretary of the ministry.

The OSDs who got fresh postings include Abu Haider Sardar, now made director general of Land Record and Survey, Syed Mohammad Zobair, made director general of Disaster Management Bureau, Aminul Islam Bhuiyan, chairman of Bangladesh Tariff Commission and Begum Selina Ahsan, chairman of Trading Corporation of Bangladesh.

Of the OSDs, Saiful Islam was made director of Privatisation Commission, Ashraf Mohammad Iqbal director of Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation, Golam Moula Majumder member of Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, AFM Saiful Islam chairman of Rajshahi Development Corporation, A Hasan Mohammad Rezaul Kabir joint secretary of the Ministry of Communication and M Habibullah joint secretary of the Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation Division. Abdul Quddus was made director of Bangladesh Land Port Authority, Abdus Sattar director of Bangladesh Textile Mills Corporation and ATM Rafiqul Haq and Mohammad Shafiullah members of Bangladesh Handloom Board.

Khandaker Abu Mohammad Abdullah, additional director general of Water Development Board, has been transferred as director of Fisheries Development Corporation, Syed Nakib Muslim, member of Handloom Board, has been transferred to the Ministry of Agriculture and Director of Privatisation Commission Shafiqul Islam has been transferred to the Ministry of Commerce.

Deputy secretaries of the Ministry of Home Sabir Ahmed and RIM Shafiqudowllah have been transferred to the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Director of BCS Administration Academy Mesbahuddin has been made OSD.
