Rezakul new NSI boss


The government yesterday appointed Brigadier General Rezakul Haider Chowdhury PSC as the director general of National Security Intelligence (NSI) on deputation, according to an official notification.

He replaces Brigadier General (retired) Abdur Rahim, who has served as the DG since the BNP-led alliance came to office in 2001.

Rezakul Haider, former DG of BDR, served in different capacities in his long career in the Bangladesh Army.
