Her call came when the new President of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) Azizul Bari Helal and General Secretary Safiul Bari Babu called on her.

Khaleda expressed her satisfaction over the peaceful co-existence of the members of different student organisations in residential halls of the educational institutions and asked them to maintain it.

She advised the students to attach utmost importance to acquiring knowledge and to build themselves as worthy citizens of the country for steering its future leadership.

Congratulating the new leadership, she asked them to perform their responsibility properly.

The new JCD leaders presented a bouquet to the BNP chairperson and sought her blessings for discharging their duties.
