Reza told the court that his wife Jayanti had committed suicide but he was implicated in the case to harass him. Moreover, the investigation officers, influenced by the complainant of the case, had turned the unnatural death case into a murder case to fulfil her (complainant) narrow interest, Reza said.

He submitted a five-page petition to the Speedy Trial Tribunal-4 yesterday seeking his acquittal of charges.
