Heartiest congratulations to Mr. Mahmoud Abbas on his election as president of the Palestinian Authority.I sincerely hope that President Abbas will succeed in overcoming all the obstacles on the way to establishing an independent Palestine State. I would fervently call upon the Palestinian armed groups to suspend their actions for some time and to cooperate with their new leader in finding out a solution to their problem and in ensuring peace and security for them. May Allah, the Almighty, bless golden victory for the people of Palestine under the leadership of Mahmoud Abbas.
