DU teacher found dead at his quarters

Prof Hasmat Ali, a teacher of Dhaka University, was found dead at his quarters on the university campus on Friday.The 65-year-old physics teacher died of a cardiac arrest, doctors at the university medical centre said. A lifelong bachelor, Prof Ali lived alone at his quarters in the International Hostel. He had long been suffering from diseases, hostel authorities said, adding that they had taken him to different hospitals on several occasions earlier. He was buried at Azimpur graveyard yesterday.
