24 stranded migrants return from Mauritania


The second group of 24 stranded Bangladeshi migrants returned to Dhaka from in Mauritania on January 22 with the support of International Organisation for Migration (IOM).

An unscrupulous network promised them jobs, but they were left in the desert of Sahara with no passport and no food.

The IOM Dhaka has helped the 24 migrants return safely to Dhaka.

The first group of 10 stranded Bangladeshis arrived in October last year.
